Co-author of the Jurisprudential Investigation “Influence of the Constitutional Court in Private Law”. Co-author of the Economic and Legal Study conducted by Fasecolda on the implementation of the Mandatory Civil Liability Insurance in Colombia. Head of the Industrial Property Department of Barrios Vélez & Asociados. Attorney-at-law from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario; Ms. Villazón is specialized on Industrial Property Law. For over ten years, she worked as attorney for the Industrial Property Department at law firm José Lloreda Camacho & Co., one of the largest law firms in Bogotá on this field, in which time she gained ample experience in the preparation and processing of Industrial Property applications. Advisor for domestic and international companies on trademarks, licenses and franchise agreements. Co-author of a handbook published by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá titled “Propiedad Industrial Herramienta para Competir en los Mercados Internacionales” (Industrial Property, Tool for Competing at International Markets”) (2002). She has been lecturer for the last two years in forums organized by ANIF “National Association of Financial Institutions” in connection with the significance of intangible goods in corporate commercial value.
